How to Add Multiple Domains to be Hosted on GoDaddy Server

This is something I searched high and low for on the internet for a while and while GoDaddy changes it's functions and layout quite often, I found it difficult to find newer sources. Assuming that you own your domain on GoDaddy and have decided to go with hosting with GoDaddy also, this should be quite simple.

If your domain is on a different account, make sure you transfer the domain name to the same account to take these steps. If you wish to keep the domain on a separate GoDaddy account or even a different domain server, these are not the directions for you. This is to add (piggyback, if you will) more than one domain onto your server.

This is the way to add another domain to your GoDaddy hosting server as of November 20, 2012:

LOGIN TO GODADDY

ALL PRODUCTS > DOMAINS > 

UNDER MANAGEMENT > DOMAIN MANAGEMENT

CLICK THE "HOSTING" TAB

• FTP FILE MANAGER
• CLICK "CREATE NEW DIRECTORY" (I MADE THIS /DOMAINNAME SO THAT THERE IS A NEW FOLDER FOR THE NEW DATABASE TO BE INSERTED INTO. AFTER YOU DO THAT, IT SHOULD SAY THAT FOLDER NAME UNDER "HTML" MAIN FOLDER. YOU WON'T NEED TO SAVE OR CLICK OKAY AFTER YOU HAVE MADE THAT FOLDER.)
• CLICK ON HOSTING AGAIN
• UNDER SETTINGS PORTION OF MIDDLE PART, CLICK ON HOSTED DOMAINS
• ADD DOMAIN
• UNDER DOMAIN:, ENTER DESIRED NEW DOMAIN TO BE ADDED TO SERVER AND CHANGE FOLDER TO /domainname (AS YOU ENTERED EARLIER WHEN YOU CREATED A NEW DIRECTORY), CLICK OKAY
• THE DOMAIN WILL BE PENDING FOR A WHILE. WHEN IT IS SET UP, GODADDY WILL EMAIL YOU A NOTIFICATION TO LET YOU KNOW IT'S BEEN SET UP.

Depending on which hosting package you chose, you have a certain amount of domains/databases allowed on your server. Economy allows 10, Deluxe allows 25, and Ultimate allows unlimited. The great thing about GoDaddy hosting is that it will allow you to download a variety of free add-on applications such as Drupal, Joomla, and Wordpress. 

Mind you, I am still very new to all of this so I am just sharing what I have learned.
